Join Us for the Nerve Conduction Fundamentals Workshop!
Co-sponsored by Novus Medical and Cadwell

In this hands-on workshop, clinical experts Mary Miller, R.NCS.T, CNCT, R.EEG.T, RPSGT, RST and Wendy Sebetka, R.NCS.T, CNCT, R.EEG.T will teach participants fundamental concepts in performing nerve conduction studies (NCS).

During the workshop, participants will engage in small-group, hands-on activities exploring the following topics:

  • Instrumentation
  • Troubleshooting
  • Upper and lower extremities
  • F-Waves
  • H-Reflexes
  • Entrapment Neuropathies

By attending the session, you will gain:

  • Knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the upper and lower extremities, as well as effective stimulation techniques
  • Foundational ultrasound skills, including the ability to optimize machine settings, identify the median and ulnar nerves, recognize normal anatomy, and detect common pathologies
  • Proficiency in eliciting late responses, such as F-Waves and H-Reflexes, and performing accurate measurement techniques
  • Practical strategies to address common technical challenges, enhance signal quality, reduce artifacts, and troubleshoot equipment issues

The following are included in the price of your registration:

  • Workshop program and materials
  • A basic electrode pack
  • Handouts on USB
  • Continental breakfast and Lunch on both days
  • Wine and cheese social, after day 1
