About this Event
In complex environments, ESG change no longer relies solely on individual initiatives, but on the ability to bring together actors with sometimes diverging interests. NGOs, investors and large corporations: new dynamics of influence are redefining the levers for action.
During this session, @Michelle van Weeren, Assistant Professor in Accounting and Sustainable Finance at NEOMA Business School, will present insights from her research conducted with Thomas Thijssens (Open University, Netherlands).
Through the case of the NGO Follow This, she will highlight the mechanisms that make it possible to influence major actors and drive the evolution of their climate commitments.
She will also share four key levers to generate impact in complex ecosystems: media visibility, strategic framing, adaptability and stakeholder coordination.
