NEON CITY are a pioneering Future Jazz ensemble from right here in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Merging the sultry vibes of classic jazz with futuristic synth layers and nu-modern beats, Neon City crafts a sonic experience that's both nostalgic and groundbreaking. Their music—a vibrant cocktail of smooth saxophone lines, pulsating beats, and shimmering electronics—transports listeners to a neon-lit metropolis of sound.
QUAKEQUATION is the psychedelic music project of musician Jonathan Jacky. In the studio, Jonathan writes, records, and produces all of the music under the QUAKEQUATION name. A unique sound blossoms from the blend of trance-like guitars, hypnotic drum loops, driving bass lines, 80s style synthesizer— layered with ethereal vocals, and trumpet & flugelhorn melodies. These elements intertwine to evoke the feeling that sound itself can be seen, painting vivid images in the listener’s mind. Songs unfold like vivid sound-poems, pulling listeners into a kaleidoscopic world.
