NEMPAC May Adult Open Mic Night

North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) hosts a free monthly event on Fridays featuring musicians of all levels! Join us for a great night out with friends and live entertainment!

Join us as an audience member or a performer! Mix and mingle with members from the Boston community and NEMPAC faculty. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Cash bar availble.

About Open Mic Night: NEMPAC began hosting its weekly Open Mic Nights every Friday since April 3rd, 2020. From there, the event transformed into a way for people to share music together to spread peace and comfort during unprecedented times. Every week was hosted by a different NEMPAC administrator and performers from our music school, the Boston community, adults, youth, and faculty alike, were invited to participate regardless of age, experience, instrument, or geographical location. We heard a wide array of music from show tunes, and opera, to jazz, and rock. Quickly, the event became a staple in the North End and Charlestown, and organizations and other public figures began to sponsor the event to keep our Open Mic Nights running free and virtually. We are thrilled to not only bring this event back for our 21-22 season but to be utilizing our brand new state-of-the-art Community Music Center allowing us to host artists of all ages.
