The historic Nelson/Bailey Norwegian log cabin, built by Norwegian settlers 175 years ago, is being moved from DeForest to rural Washington County where it is being restored on the grounds of Saxonia House, a house built by German immigrants in the 1850s. Jon Scott, board member of Saxonia House, will share the history of the cabin and the story of its ongoing restoration. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
