For more than 50 years, Nektar has taken legions of fans on audio-visual journeys to far reaches of the universe and the depths of the ocean with their immersive blend of sight and sound. These prog-rock pioneers are ready to go back on the road in North America and the World for the “Vinyl Sides Live” Tour. This tour includes a much anticipated return to the Wildey Theatre Thursday Sept 30, Friday Oct. 1 and Saturday Oct. 2. These shows will spotlight some of their best-loved “album sides” from their evergreen catalog, as well as 2020’s acclaimed release, “The Other Side".Nektar has captured the imagination and admiration of listeners the world over with their multi-media concerts, melding a jam-band vibe with superb musicality and a visual cornucopia that perfectly complements the performance. A Nektar show is an unparalleled feast for the senses.

This show will benefit PLAY IT FORWARD STL. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to organization which PLAY IT FORWARD STL. This show will include some added content and special surprises.
Play it Forward is a St. Louis-based program which began in 2006. Their mission is to ensure each child in St. Louis is provided with the opportunity to discover his or her musical talents. They collect and donate musical instruments to children whose school and parents cannot afford the equipment. Nektar and the Wildey encourages people to bring their previous played Guitars, Drums, Keyboards, Cellos, Trumpets and more to donate when they attend the show! (Please no pianos)
