Nekromantx-
The Nekromantix is a Danish psychobilly band founded in Copenhagen in 1989. Their lyrics are generally structured around monster and horror themes. One of the wilder bands operating in the psychobilly genre who harness the imagery of horror films and ghoulish monsters for their metal-infused hard-rocking psychobilly.
A central icon of the band's image is founder and frontman Kim Nekroman's "coffinbass", a custom-built double bass with a body in the shape of a coffin and a headstock the shape of a cross. Nekroman has been the sole constant member of the band. The current lineup consists of guitarist Francisco Mesa and drummer Mike Mata.
Rezurex-
Formed in Southern California 2001, Rezurex mix equal parts ’50s rockabilly, punk rock and Catholic mysticism to create one of the most exciting and original bands on the scene!
Do not dismiss REZUREX because of the make-up and seemingly coy drive-in movie charm. The simple charm belies the fact that this is one of the hardest working bands in the scene. For a decade, this band has toured the world, earning it adoring fans of all ages from around the globe. Like a subculture Elvis, Daniel deLeon brings the girls to tears while still being able to tear into a wrecking pit inducing rhythm. REZUREX’s live shows never disappoint and leave frenzied audiences calling for encore after encore.
