Enjoy an evening of original contemporary solo piano music by award-winning pianist/composers Neil Patton and Brian Kelly on Thursday, August 13th 2020 @ 7pm at Classic Pianos.They will share their music and stories behind the songs. SF Bay Area-based Brian Kelly will performing music from his acclaimed albums Butterfly Rapture and Tomorrow’s Daydream, as well as singles released this year. [style and influences here] Neil will perform music from his four solo piano albums, plus new music from his upcoming release, The Small Hours. Neil’s Stylistic Influences: from Elton John and David Lanz to Kansas and Rush.This concert is at a private residence. The address will be emailed to you after you make your reservation.NEIL PATTON is a pianist, composer, singer and teacher in Eugene, OR. His music for solo piano is a unique fusion of Classical, New Age, Folk and Rock influences that has emotionally impacted listeners around the globe. He has released four critically acclaimed collections of original solo piano music since 2007. His 2015 album, "Between Shadow and Light" was awarded Album of the Year at MainlyPiano.com. He works as a private piano instructor and freelance musician, as well as serving as Pastor of Worship Arts at his local church."There are a lot of really good pianists on the contemporary piano scene, but only a few are breath-taking, and Neil Patton is one of those." He has released four albums and many singles of his own music, and has performed his music in world-renowned concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonic Chamber Music Hall and the Place des Arts in Montreal. His music has been featured in film and in television shows on the Travel Channel, BBC Worldwide, MTV, and NBA Entertainment; and on in-flight programming on many airlines, including United, JetBlue, Continental, and Southwest. He has received numerous awards for his music, including Recording of the Year in the 2019 Indie Music Channel Awards, Best Solo Piano Album in the 2019 Enlightened Piano Radio Awards, First Prize in the 2016 USA Songwriting Competition, multiple Silver Medals in the Global Music Awards, as well as awards and/or nominations from Keyboard Magazine, Independent Music Awards, Hollywood Music in Media Awards, Just Plain Folks Awards, SoloPiano.com, and more.
