Co nám jeho učení může přinést pro výzvy dnešní doby – interaktivní přednáška s meditacemi
Večer bude probíhat převážně formou interaktivní přednášky doplněné meditacemi a prožitkovými částmi. Tématem večera bude úvod do duchovní praxe a kontemplativní modlitby Ježíše, nahlížené optikou jeho rodného aramejského jazyka. Součástí budou meditace, zpěv manter a modlitba těla.
Neil Douglas-Klotz, jazykovědec a badatel v oblasti spirituality, je autorem knih Aramejský Otčenáš, Skryté evangelium a Meditace o Genesi, které v češtině vydalo nakladatelství DharmaGaia.
Během večera Neil vybere krátké výroky a slova Ježíše (Ješuy) z různých evangelií v aramejštině a ukáže, jak se tato slova mohou stát podkladem pro kontemplativní modlitbu a meditaci. Delší fráze bude případně možné zakusit také prostřednictvím aktivnější praxe, včetně meditace v chůzi a kruhového tance se zpěvem ve formě Tanců univerzálního míru.
Cílem je umožnit účastníkům hlouběji zakusit Ješuův způsob požehnání a uzdravení. Tento prožitek se pak může stát inspirací a součástí jejich osobní duchovní praxe. Může také přinést nové vhledy do tajemství Ježíšova poslání a učení, které zůstává živé i po více než dvou tisících letech.
Neil Douglas-Klotz je v naší republice známý díky překladům svých knih a také díky tancům a meditacím, které vytvořil v rámci mezinárodní sítě Dances of Universal Peace. Prahu již před lety dvakrát navštívil a vedl zde semináře. Neilovo učení téměř třicet let předávala jeho mentee (žákyně) Ludmila Chrášťanská.
Většina programu proběhne vsedě na židlích, některé části mohou zahrnovat také jednoduchý pohyb, meditaci v chůzi nebo kruhový tanec se zpěvem. Setkání je vhodné pro zkušenější praktikující i pro ty, kteří se s tématem aramejského Ježíše, meditace a kontemplativní modlitby teprve seznamují. Předchozí zkušenosti nejsou potřeba.

What Can His Teachings Bring Us in Facing the Challenges of Today? – An Interactive Lecture with Meditations
The evening will primarily take the form of an interactive lecture complemented by meditations and experiential practices. The theme of the evening will be an introduction to the spiritual practice and contemplative prayer of Jesus, viewed through the lens of his native Aramaic language. The program will include meditations, mantra chanting, and body prayer.
Neil Douglas-Klotz, a linguist and scholar of spirituality, is the author of the books Prayers of the Cosmos (published in Czech as Aramejský Otčenáš), The Hidden Gospel, and Meditations on the Genesis, which have been published in Czech by DharmaGaia.
During the evening, Neil will select short sayings and words of Jesus (Yeshua) from various Gospels in Aramaic and show how these words can serve as a basis for contemplative prayer and meditation. Longer phrases may also be experienced through more active practices, including walking meditation and circle dance with singing in the form of the Dances of Universal Peace.
The aim is to give participants an opportunity to experience more deeply Yeshua’s way of blessing and healing. This experience may then become an inspiration and a part of their own personal spiritual practice. It may also offer new insights into the mystery of Jesus’ mission and teachings, which remain alive more than two thousand years later.
Neil Douglas-Klotz is well known in the Czech Republic through the translations of his books, as well as through the dances and meditations he has created within the international Dances of Universal Peace network. He visited Prague twice many years ago and led seminars here. For almost thirty years, Neil’s teachings were also shared here by his mentee (student), Ludmila Chrášťanská.
Most of the program will take place seated on chairs. Some parts may also include simple movement, walking meditation, or circle dance with singing. The event is suitable both for experienced practitioners and for those who are just beginning to explore the Aramaic Jesus, meditation, and contemplative prayer. No previous experience is required.

The approximate duration of the event is 2–2.5 hours, depending on the number of questions.
Neil will speak in English. Czech interpretation will be provided.
