Tina and I both live and work in the neighbourhood, and we've been wanting to get everyone together for a while now. There's been talk about organizing something through city funding, but honestly, we didn't want to wait around for that.
So we're doing it ourselves: a neighbourhood picnic at Donna Gabriel's Elementary Field on July 16th, starting at 5pm.
We'll cover a hot dog and a pop for everyone who shows up. You bring the blanket, the snacks, the kids, the dogs, whatever makes it feel like your afternoon and not ours.
Grab a free ticket so we know roughly how many hot dogs to buy. See you there.
