Punch Needle is a super satisfying form of embroidery, easy to pick up and almost impossible not to love. It has seen a resurgence in popularity over the past few years, which has given this ancient art a very modern twist. By using a larger, hollowed needle, you can create lovely tactile pieces whilst you sit and relax. This is a great craft for those who aren’t so crafty or those wanting to explore the art of embroidery, punch needle or rug hooking. You will create a lovely piece of wall art to take away on the day. There will be several contemporary designs you can choose from, or feel free to come with your own design for a 6” circular hoop. All supplies will be provided including merino wool yarn in a plethora of colour options, backing fabric and bamboo hoop for the end display of your creation. All tools and techniques needed to create your piece will be available to use on the day.
