Needle Felting Class: Make A Sheep Ornament

Learn the beginner friendly craft of needle felting using the wool (from the Wild Lea Farm sheep) to craft your own sheep ornament.
About this Event

This beginner to intermediate friendly class which will cover the basics of needle felting wool. Needle felting is a wonderful craft for it is easy to learn and fun!

You will learn the basics of needle felting and then will put your new skills to use in a guided step-by-step lesson in which you will needle felt your own sheep ornament.

All materials will be provided in a take home kit containing all your needle felting tools.

Wool will be sourced from Wild Lea Farm’s very own sheep, which can be seen grazing in the distance from where the class will be held. Your instructor will be the shepherdess of the flock so along with learning how to needle felt you will also be able to learn about the sheep who have lended their wool for this project.

As the name suggests, we will be using sharp needles to felt so this class is reserved to those who are over 10 years of age.

The picture below will be the sheep model for our class, BUT the beauty of art is each piece will be truly unique so results may vary! Looking forward to needle felting our flock!
