Dive into the lush, tactile world of needle felting in this festive, fun fiber arts program! Using cruelty free, locally raised and hand dyed wool our teaching artist will show us how to select and prepare our fiber, prep our ground, and start building color and texture to create whimsical forms perfect for use as ornaments, baubles, garlands or even as wearable art with the simple addition of a pin! We will have access to sparkly tinsel, colorful ribbon, and embroidery floss to add all kinds of unique details to our work. Participants will leave with at least one and up to six completed creation and an understanding of all the tools, materials, and basic techniques to keep on felting at home! Ages 8+.
