Throughout this felting class, you will discover the art of transforming wool fibres into beautiful felt creations using a variety of needles, resulting in a unique felted masterpiece to take home with you.Don't worry if you're new to felting - this workshop is perfect for beginners and also ideal for those looking to enhance their felting skills. You’ll be amazed at the joy and relaxation that this creative activity can bring.
What to expect during the workshop:
- Learn the step-by-step process of needle felting butterflies
- Cut out butterfly shapes from wool felt
- Add intricate detailing to the wings
- Sculpt the body to give your butterfly a three-dimensional form
Liane is a textile tutor and she will show you how to mould wool into a delicate butterfly can be a truly satisfying and therapeutic experience. By the end of the session, you’ll have a unique butterfly creation that can be worn as a brooch or displayed as a decorative piece in your home, showcasing your newfound felting skills.
