Needle-Felted Bird Workshop

Create a charming woolen bird in this fun and beginner-friendly class! Fiber artist Natasha Lehrer Lewis of Esther’s Place will guide you step by step through the art of needle felting. Learn techniques to sculpt soft wool fibers, using a variety of colors, to bring your unique bird to life. Supplies included, and no experience is necessary. Just bring your creativity!

The workshop will be hosted in the living room of Esta Barrett Manor & Gardens. The class will end with an optional tour of the sunken garden to discover what’s in bloom. Seating is limited to 20; please book in advance to secure your spot.

Natasha Lehrer Lewis has taught at the Chicago Botanic Garden, National Art Educator’s Conference, Waubonsee Community College, North Suburban Needle Art Guild, Midwest Fiber and Folk Art Festival, Carol Stream Middle School, South Beloit Elementary and Middle School, regional art educator conferences, regional libraries and many, many more places.
