Explore the wonders of needle felting in this vibrant and engaging felting class, where you will embark on a creative journey to craft your very own badger. Let Nic, our expert instructor, lead you through each step, unravelling the secrets of this charming creatures intricate design and the synonymous black and white head.

Rest assured, this workshop is perfect for newcomers to the world of needle felting. No prior experience is required, just a passion for learning and creating. Experienced felters are also encouraged to join in the fun!

During the workshop, you will:

- Discover the art of using needles and needle felting tools
- Create three-dimensional shapes
- Master the technique of joining shapes
- Experiment with blending different colours
- Learn to add contour details for a lifelike appearance
- Skilfully attach eyes to bring your badger to life.

With Nick's guidance, you'll not only create a beautiful piece of art but also gain valuable skills and techniques in the world of needle felting. Walk away with your very own badger proudly standing on its garden stone, ready to adorn your home with its whimsical charm.
Good to know:
The venue has parking. Upon arrival, park in the car park at the front of the shop. Unload your vehicle into your classroom. Staff will then advise you where to park your car for the day at the rear of the complex.
There is disabled parking and ramps allowing access to all areas. There is a disabled toilet.
Staff will help anyone in need of assistance. Shop on site selling an enormous range of goods relating to crafting: dressmaking, patchwork & quilting, knitting & crochet, sewing machines and furniture.
There is a coffee shop on site called O for Coffee. Attendees at our classes are visited by coffee shop staff regularly throughout the day to take any orders. Anything consumed during your day is sold at a 10% discount. As well as a large choice of hot and cold drinks, the menu comprises savoury choices including sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and soups. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a selection of cakes and scones made in-house with gluten-free and vegan options.
