Curious about hops, craft beer, or local agriculture? This event gives you the chance to connect with the growers shaping Nebraska’s hop industry. Members of the Nebraska Hop Growers Association, an organization run by local hop growers dedicated to promoting hops as a sustainable Nebraska crop, will be in attendance and will be bringing their local hops for attendees to explore. Attendees will have a hands-on experience discovering the unique and complex aromas of different hop varieties, from floral and citrusy to piney and spicy.
Representatives from the UNL Midwest hop breeding program will also be there to showcase their work developing new hop cultivars specially adapted to Nebraska and the Midwest. This is a rare opportunity to learn, explore, and celebrate the innovation and passion behind Nebraska craft beer.
