This is for folks working on their NEB Level 1 Certification or anyone interested in getting in a formal class and improving their forging skills.
This class is to learn how to forge a welded fire rake and will be taught by Bob Menard. NEB Level 1 skills you'll learn: Forge weld, twist, scroll round eye, ribbon taper, straighten. Special tools to bring if you have them: low-IR glasses (even 40%) strongly recommended, twisting wrench, mallet.
Bring what tools you have. We have some at the forge, but bring it if you have it!
Basic Kit: eye & ear protection, forging hammer, wire brush, measuring stick & chalk, center punch, and notebook & pencil.
