Prices: $35 (per arm per class) for first 2 entries, $25 for all other subsequent entries
Clothing allowance: 3lb, so to enter the 176lb class you must weight 179lb or less, for example.
Supermatches start at 11:30!
Weigh ins: 10am-12pm on the day, 5-7pm day before. Both at the venue. Due to late signups delaying the tournament for everyone, we CANNOT accept signups after 12pm! If you think you're going to be late, call Aiden or Yusef beforehand!
Weight Classes:
Men’s Pro: 154, 176, 198, 220, 242, SHW
Men’s Semipro: 165, 198, SHW
Men’s Amateur: 154, 176, 198, 220, 242, SHW
Men’s Novice: 165, 198, SHW
$100 Cash Prizes for all Men’s Pro 1st placers!
If the Women’s Pro Class gets 5 or more entries there will be an $100 cash prize for first place!
Women, Kids and Masters classes will be decided on the day!
Ruleset: Modified WAF rules.
Modifications:
- 15 seconds until automatic referee’s grip
- Humerus in a declined angle in a losing position is an INSTANT foul and therefore a loss since it is in a losing position.
- Dangerous position foul at referee’s discretion for Semipro/Amateur/Novice classes.
NEAL Specific:
This tournament is an official NEAL (New England Armwrestling League) sanctioned event. That means that all wins in this tournament will count towards each competitor’s NEAL POINTS. During 2025, there will be a series of NEAL sanctioned tournaments. Each tournament affords competitors the opportunity to increase their NEAL POINTS by finishing in the top 3 of their classes.
Each NEAL tournament, only one class per arm is counted toward your NEAL POINTS, and it is the class that results in you getting the most points (the class is automatically chosen for you). The final NEAL event of the year has large cash prizes for the people with the most points, so make sure you go to as many tournaments as possible!
