NDDC Intra 2025: The Voice ReturnsNotre Dame Debating Club (NDDC), the Father of Debating in this land, announces the return of its Intra-College Debate. After a long pause, NDDC Intra 2025 revives its timeless format, carrying forward 72 cycles of legacy, where voices have risen across word-battlefields at home and abroad, bound together by the strength of an enduring alumni order.
The Selection Ritual
Each cycle, NDDC summons new warriors of speech—tongues sharp as crysknives, minds bright with foresight. The rite begins with the Great Intra-College Tournament, overseen by elders and the alumni order. From these trials, champions are claimed by one of five noble houses: Gold, Blue, Silver, Green and Red
The journey is perilous, unfolding across rounds like steps through the desert:
In the First Trial, all clans of the college send their warriors. Only the 20 strongest voices shall survive this storm.
In the Second Trial, the flames grow fiercer, and only 15 remain.
In the Final Trial, the 9 greatest orators ascend into the houses of Gold, Blue, and Silver, while the remaining strong-blooded contenders join the Green and Red, carrying honor in their voices.
The BattleGround
Format: Bangla Asian Parliamentary (3v3, 5 minutes speech, 20 minutes prep)
Platform: Offline — on the holy dessert where presence and voice reign supreme
Break: The Top 20 shall receive a speaker’s break, while the Top 4 houses shall rise with the team break.
Note from the Order: This Hallway to Arakis is a sacred passage, open only to the warriors of Batch 2026.
