NDC/GENYOUth Child Health & Wellness Advisory Council Meeting

Please join National Dairy Council and GENYOUth for an in-person meeting at Hotel AKA Alexandria on Wednesday, May 28. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 AM, with the meeting starting at 9:00 AM and concluding at 2:00 PM ET.  

The purpose of this meeting is to convene the Child Health & Wellness Advisory Council and discuss strategic planning and collaborative efforts to enhance childhood health and wellness. We will explore targeted approaches to health and wellness and highlight the science-backed benefits of dairy foods as a modern wellness solution. Several partners will participate in a panel discussion to share their initiatives aimed at improving childhood health outcomes.  

Additionally, the meeting will include discussions on our commitment to school meals, with GENYOUth presenting insights from their healthy eating survey and continuing the dialogue on our common agenda to increase access to school meals.   

For those available, we will host a dinner the evening of Tuesday, May 27, providing an opportunity to network and share a meal ahead of the meeting.
