The National Dental Association had its earliest beginnings in 1900, when approximately 200 black practitioners felt they needed a professional organization of their own. The New Dentist Comittee is committed to engaging and supporting young docs who graduated 10 years ago or less, creating pathways to leadership within the NDA, and bridging the transition from student involvment (SNDA) to praciticing dentist.
