A collage of modern India, One On One Dhamaal is a unique theatrical evening that brings together Mumbai’s finest actors in works written by some of India’s most talented playwrights and directed by a line-up of our best-known directors. From arranged marriages to marriages of convenience, from exhausted housewives to accommodating film producers, from harassed ticket collectors to inedible airline food—these eight monologues, in English and Hindi, tell the story of what it is like to live in the India of today in stories that amuse, annoy and concern us all.
