NCCD Cross-School Moderation_ DDSW (Toowoomba: face-to-face only)

This half-day session will provide an opportunity for participants to connect with other state schools in their region and:

• develop a deeper understanding of the NCCD
• consider the types of adjustments other schools are making for students with disability
• engage in NCCD moderation
• moderate Student Evidence Sets from other schools
• receive objective opinions about Student Evidence Sets
• reflect on moderation as an NCCD quality assurance measure.

Assumed knowledge for participants:

• completion of the department’s NCCD online Course (EFI), and
• reading the NCCD Guidelines and NCCD Moderation resource for schools available on the national NCCD Portal.

Registration:

• Participants to complete individual registrations please.
• Please note: A limit of 2 participants per school per session please.
• Tea/coffee will be available.

Each participant will need to bring:

• printed evidence sets for three different students, with Section A (page 1) of the Student Evidence Set - Template completed and attached to the relevant document set. (Please note: This template will be provided via email after your registration has been received). Each participant to bring three different student document sets (e.g. Two staff would bring documents sets for six students).
