NC State PULSTAR Nuclear Reactor Tour

The Raleigh Engineers Club will host a special tour of the NC State PULSTAR nuclear reactor on Monday, June 24th from 10:30 AM to Noon in the Burlington Nuclear Engineering Lab at 2500 Katharine Stinson Drive. NC State’s nuclear reactor is one of two PULSTAR reactors that were built but is the only one still in operation.

Space on the tour is limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. The tour group will meet in the lobby of the lab by the big blue sign. Enter the building through the north entrance.

Tour policy requires participants to provide a photo ID during the check-in process. Also, you can’t bring a cell phone, camera, bag (e.g., backpack, purse, etc.) or weapon into the reactor facility.

Parking is an additional expense with paid street parking along Hillsborough Street or in the bottom of the Coliseum Parking Deck. Each will require a walk to the building.
