The Kick-Off Party for the NC Rhythm Tap Festival is a chance to gather and celebrate together. There will be a Music and Tap Jam, open to all and any instrument and GiveAways. The event is FREE to attend, just order a dish or drink from Namu (trust us - it's all delicious)!You don't have to be a Festival participant to come and enjoy some live music and tap dancing. Come meet and mingle with other tap dancers, musicians, and the Festival Faculty. Bring your instrument or tap shoes to sit in with the band.
House Band is hosted by Adam Price with Mark Wells (keys), Paul Creel (bass), and Stephen Coffman (drums).
Come enjoy the family friendly environment of the gardens of Namu and enjoy the coming together of jazz music and tap dancing.
