About the Speaker:
Heather Chee Founder & CEO, Stylized Threads. Heather Chee is a passionate clothing stylist, author, and entrepreneur dedicated to helping individuals express their unique identities through clothing. As the founder and CEO of Stylized Threads—a premier clothing stylist company with the tagline "Change your look, change your life"—Heather has combined over a decade of experience in corporate fashion and a deep understanding of personal style to create a transformative shopping experience. From a young age, Heather learned that her creativity was her sanctuary, especially after undergoing back surgery that left her in a wheelchair. This experience taught her that looking different didn’t always foster confidence, but it also ignited a love of fashion that became a driving force in her life. This determination to empower others through the clothing they wear inspired her to pursue a career in styling. Heather received her fashion schooling at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising with a specialization in Textile Marketing and Development. With her strong educational foundation, she has worked extensively in New York City, specializing in executive wardrobes and timeless elegance. Her unique approach focuses on strategic dressing, helping clients refine their professional images and enhance their confidence through carefully curated looks. Heather believes that clothing is not just a necessity but a powerful tool for self-expression and personal transformation. At Stylized Threads, Heather is committed to delivering personalized styling services that cater to the individual needs of each client. Whether it’s a complete wardrobe overhaul or a one-time styling event, Heather strives to empower clients to change their looks to change their lives. This ethos drives the company's mission to elevate not just appearances but also the confidence and self-assurance of every individual she works with. In addition to styling, Heather is dedicated to giving back to the community by helping domestic violence survivors through life-changing clothing styling classes. She actively participates in initiatives that support these individuals and advocates for inclusivity in fashion. With a focus on empowering others, Heather has created a welcoming environment at Stylized Threads where every client feels valued and understood. Heather is a co-author of the book, “What You Are Wearing: The Inspirational Spiritual Side of Fashion”, available in major bookstores.
