FEATURED PRESENTATION
Beyond Bigger — Business Growth Your Way
For many business owners, growth is often framed as one thing: get bigger. More revenue. More employees. More markets. More everything.
But real growth isn’t always linear—and it doesn’t always mean scaling in the traditional sense.
Join NAWBO Austin for our April luncheon featuring a dynamic panel of business leaders—Julia Harrod, Amanda Shuman, and Kate Ginsberg—who will explore what growth can truly look like for today’s entrepreneurs. From scaling teams and expanding services to intentionally staying lean, this conversation will unpack the strategic, financial, and cultural decisions that come with reaching the next level in business.
In this candid and practical discussion, our panelists will share lessons from their own journeys navigating expansion, leadership challenges, and the reality that with every new level of success often comes a new set of complexities.
Attendees will gain fresh perspective on how to define growth on their own terms—and how to build a business that aligns with their goals, values, and long-term vision.
Session Outcomes:
- Explore different paths to business growth—including scaling teams, expanding services, or intentionally staying lean
- Understand the financial, operational, and cultural implications that often come with growth
- Learn practical strategies for navigating the challenges that emerge at each new level of business

Under her leadership, the Austin-based, certified WBE firm continues to build on the core values established at its founding in 1980: integrity, responsibility, and service to clients and community.
