Chad Williams is a former US Navy SEAL and the author of the riveting book "SEAL of God" This amazing autobiography is a real look at SEAL training and the dark side of military service. Days before Chad Williams was to report to military duty in Great Lakes, Ill., he saw on television the horrifying images of his mentor, Navy SEAL Scott Helvenston, being murdered on a road in the streets of Fallujah, Iraq.
Williams followed in Helvenston's footsteps and completed the U.S. military's difficult and grueling training to become a Navy SEAL. He served for five years on SEAL Teams One and Seven, completing tours of duty in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Iraq.
