NavNet+ Discourse VCS Onboarding session

We're running two VCS Onboarding sessions for a new online platform called Discourse which we are developing as an additional resource for the voluntary and community sector in Haringey.

Discourse is digital platform for growing online communities. We have created a Discourse community for Haringey's Voluntary and Community Sector and NavNet+ members.

Discourse will be a space to:

• Share and create a knowledge hub for best practice, information and events
• Collaborate and develop partnerships
• Access helpful resources in easy-to-find 'Categories'
• Find 'Topics' that are relevant to you, and add to the conversation

We’re hoping to launch the Haringey Community Collaborative page towards the end of September, early October and need to test the platform with potential users.

• Learn more about NavNet+ Discourse
• Join the discourse community (create your log in and get started)
• Explore the platform and its features
• Share your feedback about how we can improve discourse (e.g. what content you want to see? how would you use discourse? how did you find the sign-up process?)

We will guide you through, step-by-step, so don't worry if this is all new to you - we want to make this process simple and accessible, so your feedback is really valuable at this early stage!

Please bring either a laptop or a smart phone with you so that you can get started on Discourse (WiFi is available).
