Vanessa Tutos
Vanessa Tutos leads Government Affairs for Quanta Services and is responsible for promoting favorable legislative and regulatory policy for electric transmission & distribution, renewable energy, telecommunications, and pipeline infrastructure, as well as the skilled craft-labor workforce that builds it. Prior to joining Quanta, Vanessa led state-level government and regulatory affairs EDP Renewables and served on the boards of the Advanced Power Alliance and the Clean Grid Alliance. Vanessa earned degrees in Public Policy and Spanish from Rice University and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) in New York.
Sylvia Leyva Martinez
Sylvia is a Principal Analyst in Wood Mackenzie’s Power & Renewables practice and leads the US Utility-scale Solar service. Her research coverage includes market dynamics, business models, market developments, and financial strategies of utility-scale solar PV projects in the United States and Canada. She is also the host of Interchange: Recharged podcast, where she explores the key technologies and players shaping the energy transition.
Jessica Rodriguez
Jessica Rodriguez is a Senior Analyst in Renewable Energy Origination and Power Marketing at Lightsource bp. She joined the company at the beginning of 2023 and has since engaged in over 600MW of PPA negations and solar business development in the regulated Southeast, MISO, and ERCOT. Prior to joining Lightsource bp, Jessica led the development of 4 utility-scale wind and solar projects in Colorado at NextEra Energy. Born and raised in Texas, she has an MBA from Rice University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity University.
