Nonprofit work is full of pressure: tight resources, high stakes, and teams that care deeply about getting it right. This combination makes conflict inevitable, and how we handle it shapes whether our organizations thrive or stall.

This half-day, in-person workshop will help you get better at navigating tension and disagreement at work in ways that build trust.

You'll leave with a new lens on conflict as a path towards progress, not something to avoid. You'll get clearer on your own conflict style and communication habits, and pick up tools like how to have a hard conversation well and what actually makes an apology land. We'll also dig into how power, role, and identity shape the way conflict plays out, and start thinking about what your own team's approach to feedback and communication could look like, so you leave with the start of a plan.

This workshop is for anyone in a nonprofit role, from folks just starting out to seasoned directors, who want their team to communicate with more honesty and less friction. Come learn alongside other mission-driven folks from across Southeast Michigan.
