Navigating Challenging Behaviors: Centering Feelings & Needs in Feedback

In Austin ISD we utilize Restorative Practices to create affirming spaces for our students, staff, and families. This professional learning focuses on building restorative communication skills by practicing how to offer and receive feedback that centers feelings and needs. Participants will engage in realistic scenarios to explore challenging or problematic behavior through a lens of understanding, with the goal of more effectively meeting individual needs and strengthening relationships between students and colleagues.
