MOCA is teaming up with A Breath of Hope for Navigating Cancer Survivorship: A Wellness Series, made possible thanks to a grant from The Minnesota Cancer Alliance. The series includes four separate sessions designed for survivors and their loved ones. Our first session, Mental Health: Emotional Impacts of Cancer, will focus on the emotional effects of diagnosis and survivorship.
Living with a cancer diagnosis is difficult both physically and emotionally. We will discuss ways to cope with the challenges of cancer, including fear of recurrence, uncertainty, and fostering emotional well-being.
Join us to hear from KrisAnn Talarico, LICSW, OSW-C, with Curveball Counseling LLC, and Stacey Allen, MA, LAMF, with InMind Health. This session is designed to help you gain valuable insights to empower yourself or support a loved one.
Our session will be a hybrid meeting, held in person at A Breath of Hope and accessible via Zoom for those unable to attend. The Zoom link will be sent out prior to the event. Survivors and loved ones are invited to attend this free meeting. Registration is requested by Tuesday, March 17th. Sign up here: https://bit.ly/MOCASeries1
