Prof Petra Hamerlik and Prof Susan Short are inviting you to attend the ‘Navigating Brain Tumour Diagnosis: Innovations and Strategies Symposium'.
The programme includes in-depth presentations from key stakeholders (including biotech partners) and opinion leaders from across the UK and covers the following focus areas:
- Genomics
- Multi-omics / Proteomics
- Extracellular vesicles and circulating tumour cells
Lightning Talks:
- Five researchers will have the opportunity to present a 3-minute – 3-slide ‘Lightning Talk’ on one of the above listed focus areas.
- Please submit an abstract (max 250 words) to [email protected] by 1st August.
- Talks will be selected via internal triage and successful applicants will be informed w/c 12th August. Submissions from Early Career Researchers are highly encouraged.
Mini-Workshop:
During the day, the following topics will be discussed in a mini-workshop:
- How to ensure sample and data access at the national level?
- Experimental design and statistical consideration for early detection studies: development stage
- AI and technical advances in biomarker development – how do we keep up?
- Industry collaboration and commercialisation – what does a successful path look like?
