Join us for a free interactive, engaging educational opportunity for individuals impacted by arrhythmias and the general public interested in heart health. All are welcome to join in raising awareness of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib)! The need for comprehensive community education on AFib arises due to a significant gap in public awareness and understanding of this prevalent cardiac condition, resulting in delayed diagnosis, inadequate management and increased risk of adverse outcomes. Persistent misconceptions about AFib's causes, symptoms, and treatment options further exacerbate this issue. Moreover, there is a lack of awareness regarding modifiable risk factors such as hypertension, obesity, and unhealthy lifestyle habits, as well as the importance of early detection in preventing its development. Additionally, the shortage of accessible resources for individuals living with AFib hinders effective self-management. Our initiative aims to address these gaps, empowering individuals to proactively manage their heart health, reduce the burden of AFib-related complications, and improve overall community well-being.
