Navigating an Ocean of Emotions
Somatic workshops are wonderful opportunities to learn how to activate our nervous system's natural abilities of self regularising in moments of stress, fatigue, anxiety or depression. We don’t need coffee, we don’t need pills and stimulants to get energised or to calm down or relax. By simply tuning into our body’s organic intelligence and listening to it, we are effortlessly recalibrating our energy and our focus. We feel light and empowered.
Navigating an ocean of emotions can often feel like setting sail on an unpredictable sea, where the tides of joy, sadness, anger, and love ebb and flow with varying intensity. Just as a skilled sailor learns to read the winds and currents, individuals can develop emotional intelligence to understand and contain their feelings in a self nourishing way.
Focus
This unique somatic workshop is conceived as a transformational somatic journey and is centered on exploring our emotions (energy in motion) through movements and polyvagal practices that will relate to the energy of the element of Water and the Sacral Chakra. Associated with the element of water, The Sacral Chakra is the energy point in our body that governs emotions, creativity, sensuality, and adaptability. When this energy center is blocked, individuals may feel disconnected, stuck in emotional patterns, feel unattractive or not attracted to other people, struggle with self-expression and pleasure. An excessive Sacral Chakra usually manifests in intense emotional states, constant need for connection and overstimulation, addictions to pleasure or inability to be alone.
Weather you might feel stuck or not,or you simply want to cultivate more awareness and growth in your life, by embodying water’s qualities through somatic work you will:
-Release emotional blockages and stagnant energy.
-Reconnect with your inner flow, sensual and creative essence.
-Build a nurturing, balanced relationship with your feelings and desires.
-Get more clarity, lightness and focus.
