The ExploreMore Nature Yoga Workshop is a hybrid, self-paced training designed for yoga instructors, outdoor leaders, and wellness professionals who want to take their practice outside—intentionally, ethically, and safely.

Whether you’re brand new to teaching yoga in nature or already leading outdoor classes and want to deepen your skills, this certification gives you the tools, confidence, and professional framework to create truly transformative outdoor yoga experiences.

You’ll learn how to adapt yoga for real-world environments, guide mindful movement on trails and in parks, and connect students to nature through grounding and forest bathing—while respecting the land and those who share it.

• Self-paced online coursework — work through video lectures and materials on your own time, from anywhere
• Monthly live Zoom calls — join optional live sessions for Q&A, discussion, and community learning
• In-person cohort requirement — complete your certification by attending any scheduled in-person cohort (see upcoming dates below)
• Alternative options available — if you’re unable to attend an in-person cohort, we’ll schedule a call with you to discuss other completion pathways

• Use anatomy and movement to support hiking, balance, and injury prevention
• Adapt breathwork and meditation for trails, parks, and open spaces
• Identify and manage outdoor hazards and environmental risks
• Choose appropriate gear for varying terrain and weather conditions
• Design yoga sequences that support strength, balance, and flexibility before and after hikes
• Find and responsibly use both popular and lesser-known local trails
• Partner with parks, cities, and organizations for outdoor programming
• Create unique, restorative outdoor yoga experiences your students will remember
• Build a side hustle or full business around hiking, yoga, and outdoor wellness

Complete the online portions at your own pace, join live Zoom sessions as your schedule allows, and finish your certification when you attend an in-person cohort (or discuss an alternative option with our team).
