Nature walk at Carphin Farm
About this Event
Ross Stuart of Carphin Farm will give a brief introduction, after which we will take a walk, looking for butterflies including northern brown argus and dark green fritillary.
We will meet at 10am in the car park at the village hall in Luthrie, OS grid reference NO 331196, What3Words ///immediate.unroll.couch. Attendees will then be given a lift to the farm. (If preferred you can walk in to meet at the farm, OS grid reference NO319197, What3Words ///mural.organic.tungsten.)
No dogs as there may be livestock present. Children 8 years and over welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. The terrain may be uneven and the weather can’t be relied on so dress appropriately. There are no toilet or refreshments facilities nearby.
