Strap on your explorer boots and join us for Nature Thursdays in March! We will see you March 5th, at 10:30 AM.
Your preschool-aged ecologists will join Gunston Educators for a themed story time and a guided nature hike to traverse the woods and waterways on the Grounds of Gunston Hall. Exciting exploratory activities will help preschoolers gain essential skills including preschool readiness, respect for our environment, gross and fine motor refinement, self-expression and more!
The theme for March is Spring! We’ll be reading When Spring Comes by Kevin Henkes and illustrated by Laura Dronzek. Together, we’ll observe the weather and learn about measuring the temperature. During our guided hike, we’ll have a scavenger hunt to find things in nature around us. Later, we'll practice fine motor skills by using our handprints to make flowers and welcome in the new season!
This program runs rain or shine, so please practice outdoor preparedness and dress for the weather!
Please register in advance through the link in our bio or below. This program tends to sell out!
