Join poet and writer Caroline Burrows (VerseCycle) for a 'Nature: Sketching & Poetry Writing' session at the Bristol Goddess Temple. We will first meet inside at the Temple, and then take a short 5 min walk to the William Champion's Garden (where there is a wonderful statue of Neptune), to sit and make a sketch of a leaf (weather permitting). We will then return inside, and after a quick tea break, write a poem about the experience and our findings. No previous sketching or poetry writing experience is necessary. Please bring something to sit on (a camping chair, cushion/blanket) for the outside part of the session. £10. Tickets cash on door. (please indicate on FB or message to confirm your attendance).
