Nature Rx: Intro to Birding

Enjoy a quiet and slow morning experience with Nature Rx for a guided outing along the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River.

The program begins with a 30-minute session covering basic bird knoweldge and a few tips followed by a one-hour guided bird walk to practice your skills in the field while enjoying the sights and sounds of the river.

Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them or borrow ours. Come dressed for the outdoors. Stay hydrated, bring reuseable water bottle. All welcomed, recomended for ages 10+.
