This unique experience is designed for women seeking to reconnect with themselves, the community and the natural world. Join us for a day of nature connection, learning about local landscape, bushcrafting, cooking on a fire and storytelling in the woods. We'll start the day with a walk in the stunning Vallis Vale landscape, where we'll explore its trees and plants. There, we will pause for a picnic and a moment of stillness. We'll then return to Vallis Veg campsite to spend the afternoon learning bushcrafting and making our own nature journals.
Towards the evening, we'll make the fire using natural materials and cook a meal together, using local, fresh ingredients. We'll finish the day around the fire, listening to the stories by the amazing, local storyteller, Janet North.
This retreat is more than just a getaway; it's an opportunity to learn new skills, build lasting connections, and deepen your appreciation for the natural world. Whether you're well-versed in the natural surroundings or this is completely new to you, this retreat offers something for everyone.
