Where: Verde Village Property Owners Association Inc., 4855 Broken Saddle Dr, Cottonwood, AZ 86326
Meet at the Clubhouse at 8:00 a.m. We'll head out toward the Verde River where a Ring-necked Pheasant has been seen (in the past) at 8:30.
We'll bird the Nature Preserve along the Verde River for an hour. Migration is in full flight with final precious glances of migrating warblers; such as Wilson's and MacGillvarays's. Tanagers are also moving out, but ususally stay until the cicadas are gone.
Speaking of food sources, at 10:00 a.m. VVPOA is promising a wonderful Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast to kick off the fall season!
