Nature Preschool at River Bend Nature Center is coming back this fall! Children will experience dynamic, free-play exploration of their natural environment. Guided by their innate sense of wonder, children will explore several ecosystems. Including the bottomland forest, the pond, the wild side, and the hillside. The activities and locations are learner-directed so children have an opportunity to choose what and where they want to explore for the day. Nature Preschool nurtures intrinsic motivation and accommodates different learning styles. Through immersion in the natural world, children gain a sense of stewardship and responsibility.Nature Preschool will take place every Tuesday and Thursday, in August, September, and October. Preschool is from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM, and is for ages 3-5. There are three different sessions (August, September, and October) your child can attend. The fee is $175 per child per session for RBNC Members and $185 per child per session for non-members.
