Nature Play for Pre-K
All participants ages 3-5 are invited to our Nature Play for Pre-K series, exploring a different topic every month. This series is hands-on with a discovery focus. We will start with an introduction inside and then head outside to explore, so please come dressed and prepared for the weather!

Nature Play: Snow

Winter is a magical time, especially with snow. We will look at snow up close and all the different ways we can play with it, including painting!
Nature Play: Furry Animals!

Let's take a closer look at some of the animals that are still here in the winter – mammals! We will learn about some of the mammals that call Michigan home and see if we can find any on our walk.
Nature Play: Weather

Rain or shine, wind or snow, we will go outside! Weather is all around us and gives us opportunities for different kinds of play. We will observe clouds and what shapes they make.
Nature Play: Signs of Spring

This month we will be exploring for signs of spring! We will use all our senses to discover what is new and fresh with the start of spring. Our scavenger hunt will challenge us to find different signs of spring beginning and winter ending – can we find everything on the list?

Preregistration is required. Included with the price of admission. Payment for children attending is made online at the time of registration. Accompanying guardians/family will be charged regular OAC admission fees at the front desk.
