Join Kathryn Bulver—Prairie’s Edge Master Naturalist, Douglas-Hart Volunteer, and nature lover who loves to take photos—for a fun, exploratory photo walk along the Douglas-Hart trails. Kathryn will offer insights on how to capture the diverse habitats, plants, and wildlife in the area, along with hands-on activities to enhance your experience. You’ll also find out how you can contribute to community science initiatives on iNaturalist using your photos.
Be sure to bring a camera or phone that you’re comfortable using (this isn’t a technical session on camera operation). Don’t forget to charge your battery fully and consider bringing a backup battery as well! As we will be getting close to nature, long pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
