Nature + creativity = a morning of discovery!
Children ages 8–12 are invited to Nature Making Labs, a free pilot program at Gaffield Children's Garden on Sunday, August 16, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Inspired by both the ancient past and imagined futures, participants will explore hands-on making through a series of creative labs using natural and foraged materials, simple tools, and their own curiosity. Drop in, experiment, invent, and create!

Carving & Shaping
Garments & Costumes
Prototyping from the Future & Past
A Coming & Going station at the Gaffield Children's Garden Tree Tunnel will help you get started before you head off to explore the labs at your own pace.
No registration required. Please check in when you arrive. Adults are welcome to join in the fun or relax nearby while participants create.
