We'll gather to create nature made gifts for the holiday season! We'll offer a variety of creative ways explorers can create gifts for loved ones as well as items you can elf your neighbors with! Elfing" our neighbors has become a favorite family pastime year round, and we can't wait to share it with you!
Week 1 we focus on creating for special loved ones! Each explorer will be invited to create 2 nature stamped tea-towels, 1 evergreen potpourri kit and 1 air dry clay hanging bird feeder (this activity will take all 3 weeks!)
Week 2 we will offer the option to paint our air dry clay feeders and then focus on spreading joy to our community! Each explorer will be invited to create 5 "elfing" kits for neighbors or loved ones. Each kit will include: 1 homemade hot cocoa packet, 1-2 painted air dry clay cookie ornaments, a mini lantern and a kindness note.
Week 3 we "wrap it up!" We'll make holiday cards and offer a nature wrapping station. Each explorer will pick a basket to carry their gifts home in for easy delivery!
All families are welcome to join regardless of what holiday you celebrate and we invite you to share about the traditions of your family! We will hold all items in our care until week 3 to give them enough time to dry if needed.
Siblings under the age of 4 are welcome to join at no cost! Please note that while we won't have extra supplies for them to create their own gifts, they're welcome to explore with and alongside us.
