Nature Journaling: History Mysteries
About this Event
Examine some of the artifacts discovered at the Ingrid Graham Historic Hellam Nature Preserve. We will learn how to document historical objects and structures in our nature journals. Expect a studio-like setting for this session with an optional walk down the mowed trail to Kreutz Creek if time allows.
What to Expect: Participants are asked to bring their own sketchbook and supplies. Some materials will be provided. Prepare for an optional walk outside. Bring drinking water and a snack plus any needed personal first aid supplies.
This event is recommended for ages 12 and up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
Please Note: Graham Nature Preserve is currently closed to the public except for select educational events.
Where to Meet: Follow the long gravel drive, veering to the right at the barn. Parking is available in the gravel lot.
Animal Policy: Service animals active or in training are welcome. Please leave all pets at home.
